Oriental Translation Institute (Orientaltrans) implements a rigorous translator/interpreter assessment system where translators/interpreters are scientifically tested and evaluated by experts, and merit-based selection is adopted. We make great efforts to foster professional translators, senior translators and publication-level translators, aiming to create a talent pool of high-level translators.
Team Introduction
Orientaltrans, founded in 1998 as “Nanjing Translation Net”, has been engaged in the translation/interpretation industry for over two decades. We have established a systematic, professional and experienced translation/interpretation team. The first-class team ensures our excellent translation/interpretation. Currently, we have over 100 employees, including full-time translators/interpreters, proofreaders, editors, QA professionals, layout engineers and project managers. Among them, more than 90% of its full-time and part-time translators/interpreters have earned a master's degree or above. There are more than 30 senior foreign translators from the US, the UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, among others. Foreign translation experts who participate in the proofreading process ensure accurate translation. We have won the recognition of clients at home and abroad with strict quality control procedures, stringent management procedures and a unique quality assurance system, outstanding translators/interpreters, as well as industry-leading translation/interpretation techniques.

Assignment of Optimal Translators:
Source texts are assigned to appropriate translators according to the specific language, field, difficulty and time limit.
Professional Proofreading:
Through an innovative translation management platform, a proofreader who possesses knowledge in the field involved and extensive translation experience will be assigned to proofread the final translation, which is time-saving and efficient. The proofreader will polish and refine the finished translation as required to guarantee its fluency, authenticity and accuracy.
Native Reviewers
Native reviewers will revise the translation and rewrite complex sentences when appropriate according to different cultural customs and writing style requirements, in a bid to ensure that the translated texts conform to the expressions of the target language and are more readable for the target group.
QA Professionals
They trace important projects via real-time monitoring, temporary spot checks and regular feedback on the translated texts, in order to identify possible quality issues in a timely manner, make corrections at any time and prepare a crisis response plan to ensure smooth project implementation.
DTP Formatting
Adjustments will be made to the location and size of visual elements, including texts, images and graphics as required by clients. Coupled with design and refinement, this will make the layout appealing, practical and well-organized.
